Who we are
Pterion operates this site from Toronto, Ontario. Where a registered legal name is required — on an invoice or an engagement letter — it appears there. Pterion is a trade name.
What we collect
Only what you type into the assessment form: your name, role, clinic, email, an optional phone number, and what prompted the request. We do not ask for, and ask you not to include, any health information about any person.
At present this site sets no analytics cookies and runs no tracking scripts. If that changes, it will be consent-gated, refusing will be as easy as accepting, and this page will say so.
Why, and where it goes
To reply to you. Your request is delivered by email to our own mailbox and kept there; it is not entered into a third-party marketing platform. If you tick the consent box, we may contact you about our services beyond that reply; every such message identifies us, carries our mailing address, and includes a working unsubscribe, as CASL requires. Untick, unsubscribe, or write to us, and it stops.
Your rights
Under PIPEDA you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent. Requests are answered by a person. Enquiries that lead nowhere are deleted after twelve months; engagement records are kept for the period the law requires.
