A medical director is accountable for care delivered by people who are not physicians, under directives that carry the director’s signature. That accountability is easy to accept and hard to discharge from a distance. We write the directives, the protocols, and the review process so that supervision is something a clinic can show, not something it asserts.
We build what your director signs. Your director stays your director. Pterion writes the governance documents and processes a clinic’s own medical director owns; it does not act as medical director and does not sign directives.
